Saturday 7th December is Small Business Saturday UK - a grassroots, non-commercial campaign to highlight small businesses and encourage consumers to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their communities. The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.
On Small Business Saturday, the aim is for customers across the U.K. to go out and support all types of small businesses - online and in stores.
Shopping locally with small businesses is more sustainable (reducing packaging, mileage and our carbon footprint), it provides a wide range of choice and helps to encourage a variety of creative and unique products.
So head out this weekend into your home town, wander around the local businesses and find your new favourite shop!
You can find us in many local fantastic small businesses less than five miles from the distillery, working together to highlight the benefits of shopping locally and buying from the experts in their field – local knowledge and great customer service go a long way.
