We are very proud that the judges at the Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards 2023 have given our Bramble Whisky a silver medal!
From the seed of an idea for a new release, to the development and creation by our hard-working production team, to the label design and then the very first sale – it excites and motivates and makes the whole process feel enormously worthwhile.
For our Bramble Whisky, we take a 3 year-old blended Scottish Whisky and steep it with delicious blackberries, the jewels of the hedgerow. A little sugar added to the mixture encourages the fruit to give up its deep, dark secrets over a period of months, ultimately making a product that allows the base spirit to shine alongside the fruity tones of the hedgerow jewels. The mellow, deep flavour of the fruity blackberries combines delightfully with the earthy tones of the whisky to create a deliciously harmonious liqueur.
Perfect Serve – feet up in front of the fire, with a little tot of Bramble Whisky, or 25ml Bramble Whisky topped up with warm apple juice and garnished with apple slices, similar to a mulled recipe, it will warm the cockles and your heart!
